The project’s design focuses on pedestrian and outdoor seating areas. Its Mediterranean theme is enhanced with use of stone towers, roof projections and exposed wood trellis elements. It is anchored by Kohl’s Department Store and features other popular retailers and restaurants including Starbuck’s, Quiznos, and Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill. RPG’s recent acquisition of the adjacent Newbury Oaks Marketplace provides almost 30 contiguous acres of commercial property along the 101 freeway.
